Samosa is a popular snack in Southeast Asia, a fried or baked triangular pastry with a filling which may include spiced potatoes, onion, peas, coriander, and lentils, or ground beef. At tonight’s dinner, there is one samosa..

Saag aloo is a creamy savory dish from Northern India containing spinach (saag) and potato (aloo). This versatile vegetarian curry is traditionally associated with the Hindu religion.

Rogan Josh is an aromatic dish from Kashmir and is popular in India, Pakistan and Singapore. Rogan means oil in Persian, while josh means heat, hot, boiling, or passionate. Rogan josh thus means cooked in oil at intense heat. Another interpretation of the name is derived from the word rogan meaning color and josh meaning passion, hot or red. So this is a meat dish which is red in color.  The ground pepper is red in color but not as hot as Indian peppers. Pushkar adds tomatoes to this brand new curry, specially made for tonight’s Antigua Curry Club dinner.Naan is a round flatbread made of white flour.
Naan is a staple accompaniment to hot meals in India.
